Miguel Delgado (died 2021) was a Yaran revolutionary who served as a Familia Montero guerrilla and FND informant during the Yaran Revolution of 2021. He was murdered by Camila Montero for contributing to the death of her father Carlos Montero in an FND ambush.
Biography[]
Miguel Delgado was born in Madrugada, Yara, and he worked as a farmer on Carlos Montero's land before the outbreak of the Yaran Revolution of 2021. Montero came to look upon Miguel as a son, and the two men were later imprisoned at the Gabriel Castillo Public School for their opposition to Anton Castillo's regime. While Camila Montero was able to rescue her father and several other prisoners during an escape attempt, Miguel was left behind, causing him to blame Camila for leaving him to die. In 2021, he was rescued by Carlos' associate Dani Rojas, and, while a free man, he became an FND informant. He lured his fellow guerrillas into an FND ambush in the town of Verdera, resulting in Carlos' death; Miguel had opted not to give up the location of the rebel hideout, as he did not want to punish the other guerrillas. Camila confronted Delgado back at the hideout after Rojas told her that Miguel had left her an unloaded sniper rifle during the ambush, and Miguel never denied betraying the Monteros. While Delgado explained the FND's interrogation tactics and said that Castillo had already won, Camila slit Miguel's throat.
