
Michelle Fischbach (3 November 1965-) was the Republican Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota from 2 January 2018 to 7 January 2019 (succeeding Tina Smith and preceding Peggy Flanagan) and a member of the US House of Representatives (R-MN 7) from 3 January 2021 (succeeding Collin Peterson).
Biography[]
Michelle Fischbach was born in Woodbury, Minnesota from 1965, and she served on the Paynesville City Council from 1995 to 1996, served in the State Senate from 1996 to 2018, as Lieutenant Governor from 2018 to 2019, and in the US House of Representatives from 2021. She supported making the 2017 tax cuts permanent, workforce education, and additional business relief during the COVID-19 pandemic.
