Michael Imperioli (26 March 1966-) is an American actor and screenwriter. Born in Mount Vernon, New York, he was raised in Brewster before going to acting school in New York City and becoming a successful actor, with many of his roles involving the Mafia. He was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards and five Emmy Awards for his role in The Sopranos; he also wrote five of the show's episodes.
Imperioli endorsed 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on social media, and suggested that the "Soprano crew" would have done the same. In July 2023, he told "bigots" that they were "forbidden" from watching White Lotus and The Sopranos.
