A Mexikanemi tattoo
Mexikanemi ("Mexican Life" in Nahuatl) is a Mexican gang in Texas that was formed in 1984 in Texan prisons. With anywhere from 2,000 to 17,000 gang members, the gang operated separately from the Mexican Mafia in the state of California, although it was allied with La Eme and the racist Aryan Brotherhood gangs against the Nuestra Familia and Black Guerrilla Family gangs.
