Meshack Franklin (1772-18 December 1839) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-PA 12) from 1807 to 1813 (succeeding Joseph Winston and preceding Israel Pickens) and from NC-13 from 1813 to 1815 (preceding Lewis Williams).
Biography[]
Meshack Franklin was born in Surry County, North Carolina in 1772, the brother of Jesse Franklin. He served in the House of Commons from 1800 to 1801, in the US House of Representatives from 1807 to 1815, and in the State Senate from 1828 to 1829 and in 1838.
