Mehrang Dharwar (died 8 July 2035) was an Iranian Griffin Regiment soldier who fought in the Altian Civil War. He was the first Iranian casualty of the war.
Biography[]
Mehrang Dharwar was born in Nishapur, Iran to a Shia Muslim family, and he joined the military. Dharwar served in the Griffin Regiment when it was deployed to Altis on 8 July 2035 to assist the Altian Armed Forces against NATO and the Freedom and Independence Army during the Altian Civil War. He took part in a parachute jump from a helicopter over Agia Marina on Stratis that evening with three other CSAT soldiers, and Dharwar traded fire with Corporal Ben Kerry, who was heading to meet up with Captain Scott Miller at a cove in the north. Dharwar was killed in the ensuing shootout, the first Iranian soldier to die in the conflict.
