Location of Mazowieckie
Mazowieckie Province was a province of the Russian Empire that was located in what is now Poland. In 1836, the region had a population of 597,750 people, with 84.3% of the populace being Poles, 10.5% Jews, 3.7% Ukrainians, and 1.5% Germans; the religious groups were Catholics (83.6%), Judaism (10.5%), Orthodox Christianity (3.7%), and Protestantism (2.2%). Mazowieckie is now a part of the Masovian Voivodeship and a few neighboring regions.
