Maximilian of Lunden was an Anglo-Saxon collector of Roman artifacts who lived in London during the late 9th century AD. He was the arch-nemesis of the rival collector Octavian Claudius Britannicus (Osbert), stealing a legionary statuette from him; in 877 AD, Octavian's friend, the Viking warrior Eivor Wolf-Kissed, confronted Maximilian at his shop and bought back the statuette for 130 silver pieces.
