Maurice Bicett was the housemaster of The Burgundy House, a gambling den in Paris, France, during the mid-16th century. In 1557, he attempted to force Mary, Queen of Scots' lady-in-waiting Mary Fleming to have sex with him in order to redeem her daughter Fredrick Fleming's massive debt to him, but he was forced to absolve Fredrick's debts after Prince Francis of France defeated him in a high-stakes card game.
