
Maude Foster (1833-1878) was a member of the Blighters gang of London.
Biography[]
Maude Foster was from a poor family in the City of London borough of London, and she was known to be one of the fastest pickpockets in the city. She joined the Blighters street gang, utilizing her pickpocket skills. In 1868, Evie Frye kidnapped Foster at a small park near St. Paul's Cathedral, and she was taken to Sergeant Frederick Abberline. In 1878, after ten long years of captivity Maude was finally released. Immediately free Maude went back to create Blighters now destroyed and his actions were attracted by the local leader Jacob Frye. So the same year Maude was at Waterloo Station when Frye caught and shot him twice in the head, killing her.
