Matthieu Bugeaud (died 8 March 1844) was a general of France during the July Monarchy.
Biography[]
Matthieu Bugeaud was appointed as the commander of the 12,000-strong French 9th Army in Toulon in late 1839, and was stationed in southern France in the event of a war with the Austrian Empire in northern Italy. He died on 8 March 1844.
