Millennial Matt

Matthew "Millennial Mat" Colligan was an American neo-Nazi internet personality who first rose to prominence as a fascist torchbearer during the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. Matt, motivated by white supremacism (and a friend of online alt-right leader Baked Alaska), took part in the racist event, leading to a Twitter group unmasking him. Over the next few years, he posted white nationalist advocacy and the fascist slogan "Hitler did nothing wrong," and his TikTok account was shut down in May 2020 for hate speech. In June 2020, he, Nick Fuentes, and Jaden McNeil orchestrated an internet harassment campaign against Black Lives Matter activists who took down McNeil's offensive "I Can't Read" (referencing George Floyd's last words, "I can't breathe") sign and snatched away Colligan's glasses. He went on to participate in the 2021 United States coup d'etat attempt in Washington DC, storming the US Capitol building.
