Matteo Marin (died 1479) was an Italian merchant who was involved in a plot directed at the Republic of Florence's supply line.
Biography[]
Matteo Marin was born in Florence, Republic of Florence and he became a merchant at the marketplace in the San Marco district. In 1479, a plot against Florence's supply line was detected, and Lorenzo de Medici hired Ezio Auditore da Firenze to assassinate Marin, the grand schemer. Ezio stealthily killed Marin by walking up behind him and stabbing him with his hidden blades.
