Matthew Walsh was an American right-wing political commentator. He worked as a talk radio co-host before joining The Blaze TV in 2014, becoming a contributor to several news websites, and authoring several books; he called himself a "theocratic fascist" on his Twitter biography. He argued that Kyle Rittenhouse was maliciously prosecuted, argued for pornography restrictions and the banning of abortion, called anime "satanic", accused Joe Biden of "feminizing" the US military, outspokenly opposed gay rights and transgender rights (even after the Colorado Springs gay club shooting on 20 November 2022), and compared doctors who performed gender-reassignment surgeries to "Nazi scientists".
