
Matt Cartwright (born 1 May 1961) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-PA 17) from 3 January 2013 to 3 January 2025, succeeding Tim Holden and preceding Rob Bresnahan.
Biography[]
Matt Cartwright was born in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1961, and he worked as a lawyer in the Scranton area for 25 years. From 2005 to 2011, he was also an on-air legal analyst, and he was elected to the US House of Representatives in 2012 as a Democratic Party politician.
