Matsuda Yorizane (1846-April 1867) was a Japanese samurai and a scion of the Nagoya Domain during the Boshin War. In the spring of 1867, he led a rebellion against the pro-Imperial Choshu Domain in Owari Province with the objective of restoring his pro-Shogunate domain's independence, but he and his entire army were massacred in a one-sided battle against Mori Takachika's Choshu army in April 1867, putting down the rebellion.
