Matilda of Sicily

Matilda of Sicily (born 1063) was the Princess of Sicily.

Biography[]

Matilda was the daughter of Count Roger I of Sicily and his wife Judith d'Evreux, and their second child after Prince Simon. She was a natural negotiator and good diplomat, and arranged trade agreements with the Papal States and Holy Roman Empire, although some treaties involving map information exchanges were revoked by both of the empires, decreasing her charm.
