Masakatsu Hachisuka (1526-8 July 1586) was the daimyo of the Hachisuka clan of the Kaito district of Owari Province.
Biography[]
Masakatsu Hachisuka was born in 1526, and he became the lord of Kaito and the Hachisuka clan in Owari Province. Masakatsu allied with Nobunaga Oda in 1545, and he became one of his close allies. He fought in the campaigns against the Mori clan to the west, and after Nobunaga's death in 1582, he became one of the allies of Hideyoshi Hashiba. His son Ietada Hachisuka was given a fief in Awa Province while Masakatsu decided to become a retainer of Hideyoshi. He died in 1586.
