Masai (Riffs)

Masai (born 2 September 1948) was the President of The Gramercy Riffs after the murder of the previous leader, Cyrus in July 1979. He had a radio DJ put a hit out on The Warriors, the gang believed to be responsible for the murder, leading to the gang members being attacked by several gangs on their way back from the meeting in The Bronx back to their home turf in Coney Island.

It was later revealed to The Riffs by an unnamed gang affiliate that it was The Rogues leader Luther who shot Cyrus. Masai and The Riffs went to Coney Island to confront The Rogues, he allowed The Warriors to leave unharmed and commended them. The Riffs then beat Luther and the rest of his gang to death.
