Martin Madrazo (24 April 1954-) was the head of a Mexican-American gang and narcotics ring in southern California. A powerful boss, Madrazo made enemies with nearly every gang in Los Angeles, and he recruited other people to take care of his enemies in gang attacks. He was also renowned for being ruthless, having former friends (and even family members) killed for crossing him.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Martin Madrazo was born in Mexico, and he became the head of a notorious Mexican-American drug cartel, whose operations netted him millions of dollars per year. He owned a stilted home in Beverly Hills, California and a ranch, La Fuente Blanca, to the north of Los Angeles, and he had a Russian mistress named Natalia Zverovna in addition to a wife named Patricia. Madrazo lived a luxurious lifestyle, and his own men feared him, as he was a ruthless criminal.
Criminal activities[]
When he was charged with racketeering, he had all the witnesses murdered; this dismissed him of all charges, as there was no-one to accuse him. Madrazo also made use of freelance criminals to achieve his goals for him; including wiping out gangs and organizations encroaching on his territory, such as The Lost MC, Merryweather Security, The Professionals, the Carson Avenue Families, the Los Santos Vagos, the Armenian Mafia, the Los Angeles Triads, the Marabunta Grande, the Ballas, the Altruist Cult, rogue members of his cartel, and various redneck meth manufacturers.
Assassinations[]
He hired several associates for various tasks, such as assassinating several people, including the District Attorney of Los Angeles Michael Porter while he was transporting evidence that could implicate Madrazo to the Compton Courthouse, Alejandro Cortez, an associate-turned-prime witness in his Hollywood mansion while Cortez was being guarded by LAPD officers and hired guards, Chloe Powers, a former secretary of Madrazo, as she drove to the Compton Sheriff's Station from the Viceroy Hotel, LA County judge Daniel Keaton as he visited the Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyard, Daily Globe editor Neil Davison, and several others. He also had retired bank robber Michael De Santa pay him back for the destruction of his mansion by robbing a Vangelico jewelry store in Beverly Hills.
Michael and Trevor[]
Later, Madrazo contacted De Santa and his longtime friend and meth dealer Trevor Phillips to assassinate his cousin Javier Madrazo for turning states. This was accomplished with a mounted anti-materiel rifle to down the plane, with Philips chasing the crashing plane and gunning down Javier. Soon, Philips returned to the ranch and asked for payment. Madrazo refused, as this task was a favor. Philips then cut off Madrazo's ear and kidnapped his wife, Patricia.
After a week, De Santa and Philips recovered an Aztec fertility statue from a Merryweather transport, Philips tearfully delivering both the statue and Patricia to Madrazo. Philips then threatened to take Madrazo's other ear if he hurt Patricia again, to which Madrazo fearfully agreed to never do so.
