Martin Franklin Conway (19 November 1827-15 February 1882) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-KS) from 29 January 1861 to 3 March 1863, preceding Abel Carter Wilder.

Biography[]

Martin Franklin Conway was born in Harford County, Maryland in 1827, and he worked as a printer in Baltimore before moving to Kansas in 1854 and being elected to the Territorial Council in 1855. He served in the US House of Representatives from 1861 to 1863 as a Republican, having taken part in compromise talks before the American Civil War broke out. He died in 1882.
