
Martin Beaty (8 October 1784-17 June 1856) was a member of the US House of Representatives (NR-KY 4) from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1835, succeeding Robert P. Letcher and preceding Sherrod Williams. Born in Abingdon, Virginia, he settled in Kentucky and served in the state senate from 1824 to 1828 and 1832, in Congress, and in the state house in 1848.
