
Marshall Van Winkle (28 September 1869-10 May 1957) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-NJ 9) from 4 March 1905 to 3 March 1907, succeeding Allan Benny and preceding Eugene W. Leake.
Biography[]
Marshall Van Winkle was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1869, the grandnephew of Peter G. Van Winkle. He was admitted to the bar in 1890 and became a lawyer in Hoboken, and he went on to serve as a Hudson County prosecutor from 1902 to 1905. From 1905 to 1907, he served in the US House of Representatives as a Republican. He died in Oceanport in 1957, and he was interred in Fairview, Bergen County.
