Mark Wheeler was an American FBI agent during the 1980s. In 1987, he and Agent Rick Sacks were assigned to Chihuahua, Mexico to track down the Mexican drug lord Pablo Acosta Villarreal following his interview with an El Paso newspaper, and they kidnapped DEA agent Walt Breslin and warned him against interfering with their operation. They ultimately killed Acosta in the Santa Elena raid.
