Mark Harris (27 January 1779-2 March 1843) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-ME 2) from 2 December 1822 to 3 March 1823, succeeding Ezekiel Whitman and preceding Stephen Longfellow. Born in Ipswich, Massachusetts, he moved to Portland, Maine in 1800 and worked as a m erhcant before serving in Congress, the state legislature, as Cumberland County treasurer from 1824 to 1832 and 1834 to 1840, and as Treasurer of Maine in 1828 and from 1832 to 1834. He moved to New York City in 1842 and died in 1843.
