Biography[]

Mark Hammond was born in Greater London on July 30, 1967. He went into a life of crime at an early age, first joining the Bethnal Green Mob in the 1980s, and later became a respected enforcer for the Collins Gang in Soho. Mark married to a woman named Suzie and the two birthed a son Alex in 1994.

In 1997, Mark was arrested by corrupt Metropolitan Police Service chief inspector and Flying Squad leader Clive McCormack, serving five years in prison before being released in mid 2002.

Upon being released from custody, Mark managed a nightclub for two months before his wife was shot and their son Alex was kidnapped by the Bethnal Green Mob. Mark tracked down the car Alex was taken in to a warehouse where he is confronted by mob boss Charlie Jolson, who instructed Hammond to do as he asks or his son will be killed. Unable to contact the police for help due to his criminal record and framed for the death of his wife, Hammond reluctantly began doing increasingly dangerous tasks for Jolson which included setting fire to a Collins Gang hideout, starting a gang war between the 14K Triads and Yardies, and killing MPS chief inspector McCormack. Hammond initially sought help from Collins Gang associate and friend Liam Spencer but later began working with Yasmin to find and rescue his son.
