
Mario d'Urso (1477-1545) was a condotierro. D'Urso was born in Bisceglie, and was captured while fighting for the Kingdom of Naples against Aragon. He joined the Spanish and fought France in the 1490s and 1500s, also serving under the Papal States. D'Urso's career ended in 1540, having mainly fought for Spain. He died in his wealthy estate in Bisceglie in 1545.
