Marjorie Jacqueline "Marge" Simpson (1956-) was a Springfield, Oregon resident who was the wife of Homer Simpson and the mother of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpson. She was a homemaker after marrying her high school sweetheart Homer, and she voted for Democratic presidential candidate Jimmy Carter in 1976.
