Biography[]
Marco Mutti was born in Castellammarese del Golfo, Sicily, and he left for the United States at a young age, making New York City his residence. Mutti joined the American Mafia under Don Salvatore Maranzano, and he became one of his top lieutenants. In 1931, he was the sixth man to cut his hand and give a handshake to Lucky Luciano, welcoming him into the Maranzano crime family after his murder of Joe Masseria.
