Manzanita Post was a small trading post located near Kountze, Hardin County, Texas during the Wild West era. Named for the nearby manzanita evergreen shrubs, it was founded as a trading post and train station in the forested Tall Trees region, and it was settled by Norwegian immigrants from the village of Korshamn during the late 19th century.
