Manson Kelly Pillsbury (1861-1898) was an American deputy sheriff who lived in Tumbleweed, Apache County, Arizona Territory during the Wild West era. In 1898, he got into a violent argument with the bounty hunter Iron-Sights Jones as he entered town with his friend the Arizona Kid, and he decided to draw his pistol and shoot at Jones as Jones walked to the saloon. Shocked at Pillsbury's aggressive behavior, Arizona drew his twin revolvers and shot Pillsbury in the head, rescuing his friend; however, this resulted in a shootout which left around twenty local lawmen and US Marshals dead.
