Malek Rahmati (1982-19 May 2024) was the Iranian Governor General of East Azerbaijan from 21 January to 19 May 2024, succeeding Zeinolabedin Razavi Khorram. Born in Maragheh, he previously headed the Privatization Organization of Iran from 2023 to 2024. He, President Ebrahim Raisi, and other top Iranian officials were killed in a helicopter crash in 2024.
