Biography:[]

Very little information is known about his early life, but in 1939, Wallace enlisted in the US Marine Corps and was stationed on the USS Lexington (CV-2), but was discharged in September 1940 due to a back injury. Later he enrolled in the University of Texas, Austin

Murder of John Douglas Kinser:[]

On October 22nd, 1951, Wallace shot 33 year old John Douglas Kinser at the clubhouse of the Pitch and Putt Golf Course after Kinser was discovered having an affair with Wallace's wife, though it has been alleged that Kinser also was having an affair with Josefa Johnson, the sister of future President Lyndon B. Johnson Wallace was arrested and tried for murder. Wallace got an attorney named John Cofer, who was a personal lawyer for Johnson, alongside Polk Shelton, as his defense counsel.
