Maki-chan (1966-) was a Japanese hostess who worked at the Cabaret Grand in Dotonbori, Osaka during the 1980s. On the night of 12 December 1988, she was felt up by the drunken client Morie Arakawa, causing manager Goro Majima to confront Arakawa and, after a tense confrontation turned into a showy scuffle, Majima forced Arakawa to pay for everyone's drinks. Majima then had Maki-chan receive a bonus for having to endure Arakawa's sexual assault. On 16 December 1988, Maki-chan embarrassed herself when Majima walked in on her allowing for Homare Nishitani to feel her up and discussing a fee for her to pleasure him under the table, and, after Nishitani was later arrested for causing a disturbance, she apologized to Majima, saying that she had only thought to make an exception for Nishitani because she thought he would bring good business.
