The Majestic Hotel shootout occurred in the spring of 2008 when Pegorino crime family hitman Niko Bellic gunned down dozens of Jewish Mob enforcers at the Majestic Hotel in Central Park, Manhattan, New York City. Bellic was sent to kill diamond dealer Isaac Roth and his cronies after Roth threatened to kill Ray Boccino due to the Natural History Museum shootout, and Bellic took the elevator up to the 30th floor, where the shootout began. Bellic would kill dozens of Jewish mobsters and gun down Roth in his apartment as he made time with a Japanese woman, and he escaped the NYPD after leaving the building. The shootout all but destroyed the Roth crime family.
