
Majed Moqed (18 June 1977-11 September 2001) was an al-Qaeda member from Saudi Arabia who was one of the 9/11 hijackers.
Biography[]
Majed Moqed was born on 18 June 1977 in al-Nakhil, Saudi Arabia, and he studied law before joining al-Qaeda in 1999. Moqed attended an al-Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan with other Saudi jihadists, including his friend Satam al-Suqami, a classmate of his in college. He moved into an apartment in Paterson, New Jersey with Salem al-Hazmi, Abdulaziz al-Omari, and Khaled al-Mihdhar, and he gained a false ID from Eyad al-Rababah alongside Salem al-Hazmi, Hani Hanjour, and Ahmed al-Ghamdi. On 11 September 2001, he helped in the hijacking of American Airlines Flight 77 and died when it was crashed into the Pentagon.
