
Mahmoud Khalil (1995-) was a Palestinian-American student activist and the lead negotiator of the Gaza Solidarity Encampment during the pro-Palestinian takeover of New York City's Columbia University in April 2024. He accused the school of pushing an anti-Palestinian narrative amid the Israel-Hamas War. In March 2025, he was arrested by ICE agents at his home and slated for deportation for what Donald Trump defined as "un-American activity."
