Mahmoud Ali Abu Munif (1960-11 March 1978) was a PLO fedayeen leader and the leader of the commando that took part in the 1978 Coastal Road massacre; Dalal Mughrabi was the political commissar. Abu Munif was born in Nablus, West Bank, and he was chosen by Khalil al-Wazir to lead the raid on Israel from South Lebanon. Abu Munif was shot in the head during the raid and killed.
