
Mahdi Mohammed Gulaid was Prime Minister of Somalia from 25 July to 18 September 2020, succeeding Hassan Ali Khaire and preceding Mohamed Hussein Roble.
Biography[]
Mahdi Mohammed Gulaid was born in Somaliland, and he worked as a lawyer before serving as Deputy President of Somalia from 2017 to 2020. In July 2020, he became acting Prime Minister on Hassan Ali Khaire's ouster in a vote of no-confidence, only to be replaced by Mohamed Hussein Roble in September.
