Magnus Voller

Magnus Voller (1897-1939) was a Nazi German archaeologist who led the search for the fabled Staff of Moses in 1939.

Biography[]

Magnus Voller was born in Germany, and he attended the University of Chicago, where he was a classmate of Indiana Jones. In 1922, Jones saved Voller from a trap during an archaeological trip to Panama, and Voller was eventually kicked out of the university after repeated reprimands. In 1939, on the orders of the Nazi regime, Voller led the search for the Gold Ram's Head in Sudan, the Jade Sphere in Panama, and the Staff of Moses in Istanbul and Nepal. He died in an airship accident over the Bay of Bengal that same year.
