Mabuchi Daigo (1969-) was a Japanese student who lived in Dotonbori, Osaka during the 1980s. On 17 December 1988, the Snake Flower Triad members Fumimaro Fukuda, Shuko Sekine, and Eiichi Kurosawa cornered him on a bridge and attempted to rob him, but the yakuza Kazuma Kiryu intervened and beat down the triads. A grateful Daigo awarded Kiryu with a toughness drink.
