Ma Zhong (?-249), sometimes known as Ma Zheng to differentiate from Wu's Ma Zhong, was an officer of Shu who fought under Zhuge Liang during Shu's southern campaign. He was captured by Zgu Rong, but when Zhu Rong herself was captured by Zhao Yun, he was freed in a prisoner exchange. He later contributed greatly to Shu's northern campaigns, and during the fourth such campaign, he lured Zhang He into a trap at Mu Men Pass, where he died.
