The Koksan M-1978 is a North Korean-built 1 x 170 millimeter cannon that can fire 40 x 170 millimeter shells. Built in 1978, the Koksan M-1978 is a tracked artillery gun used by the Korean Peoples' Army for long range bombardment of enemy bases and cities. It was also used by Iran during the Iran-Iraq War.
