M15 42

The M15/42 tank was an Italian medium tank that was produced from 1 January to 8 September 1943 during World War II. The tank replaced the Fiat M13/40 and Fiat M14/41 tanks, and it served in Italy and Yugoslavia with the German Wehrmacht. 90 were built for the Royal Italian Army and 28 for the Wehrmacht, and they were in service from 1943 to 1945; the Italians used the tanks against the Germans when the Germans attempted to disarm them in Rome on 8 September 1943, and the Germans used the confiscated tanks in Yugoslavia.
