Monsieur Lemaitre (1765-January 1791) was a citizen of France who collected the heads of Olympe de Gouges and Jacques-Pierre Brissot.
Biography[]
Monsieur Lemaitre took the heads of Olympe de Gouges and Jacques-Pierre Brissot and put them in boxes in the Conciergerie of the Palais de Justice in Ile de la Cite, Paris, after their executions. He was later killed by Arno Dorian, who stole his key and took the two heads for Madame Tussaud.
