Marvel Mills Logan (7 January 1874 – 3 October 1939) was a Democratic US Senator from Kentucky from 4 March 1931 to 3 October 1939, succeeding Ben M. Williamson and preceding Happy Chandler.
Biography[]
Marvel Mills Logan was born in Brownsville, Kentucky, and he became a lawyer in his hometown in 1896. He served as Edmonson County attorney from 1902 to 1903, as assistant Attorney General of Kentucky from 1912 to 1915, as Attorney General of Kentucky from 1915 to 1917, as a Kentucky Court of Appeals judge from 1926 to 1930, and in the US Senate from 1931 until his death in 1939. He moved to Louisville in 1918 and to Bowling Green in 1922, and he died in Washington DC in 1939.
