Luther (23 February 1951 - 13 July 1979) was the boss of The Rogues, a street gang from the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York City. In 1979, he assassinated The Gramercy Riffs boss Cyrus with a revolver and blamed The Warriors for shooting him, leading to The Warriors being attacked by rival gangs. He attempted to ambush the Warriors on their return to Coney Island, but their leader Swan threw a knife at his wrist and prevented him from shooting him, with the Riffs later arriving to apprehend the Rogues. Luther and his gang members were beaten to death by the Riffs.
