Luo Luban

Luo Luban (246-291) was a Jin general who was loyal to the Prince of Pengcheng Sima Zhi during the War of the Eight Princes.

Biography[]

Luo Luban was born in 246 AD, and he became a general of Jin at the end of the Three Kingdoms era. After Jin unified China, he entered the service of the Prince of Pengcheng, Sima Zhi, and he took part in his uprising against Sima Yue in 291 AD. He led his army to battle against Sima Yue at the Battle of Cengshan, where he duelled Sima Yue's general He Lun. He Lun was unable to defeat Luo Luban by himself, so Sima Yue himself interrupted the duel, and both of the generals managed to cut Luo Luban down and defeat his army.
