Luke Miser was an American cowboy who lived in Tombstone, Cochise County, Arizona during the Wild West era. On 24 March 1884, he was assaulted by the gambler Raoul de Morency on the streets of Tombstone after he and Ruffus Youngerman made fun of De Morency's politeness towards Carole Thayer, and, later that day, Miser and Youngerman dared the young Evan Langston to steal a pair of De Morency's silken underdrawers, inadvertently leading to Langston being shot and wounded by De Morency.
