Luke Lea (21 January 1783-17 June 1851) was a member of the US House of Representatives (W-TN 3) from 4 March 1833 to 3 March 1837, succeeding James Israel Standifer and preceding Joseph L. Williams. Born in Surry County, North Carolina, he served in the First Seminole War before settling in Knox County, Tennessee. He sreved in Congress and defected to the Whigs in 1835, later serving as Secretary of State of Tennessee from 1837 to 1839. He died in a horse accident in Fort Leavenworth while serving as an Indian agent.
